Steinbeckers of the world! (If that’s a thing.) I’ve read and loved East of Eden, The Grapes of Wrath, and soon to read Mice of Men… but where should I go after that?
Which ones are his best and most enjoyable, for any reasons?

Cannery Row. It’s less profound than East of Eden, but it’s compact and beautiful.

Well you’ve already read his best… so I’d recommend Travels With Charlie and then Cannery Row.
